Mission Statement

Buffalo For Africa is a 501 (c) 3 non profit organization that was created in order to raise awareness about the genocides and human rights atrocities happening in Africa.  We hope to raise awareness, to educate our citizens, to promote character and compassion and to showcase the talent and goodness   that the people of our city possess, especially students.

Buffalo For Africa was born in 2006 by educators and students who felt the need to spread the word and promote action to help those in Africa.  By becoming a non profit organization in 2009, we feel that we will be able to reach more people that can help us in our quest to bring peace and justice to those who truly need it!

Letter to Obama

With a few minor personalizations and a click of the mouse, your voice can be heard! Please help send this new administration the message that just because we are experiencing some tough times doesn’t excuse our silence in the presence of genocide. Encourage our President to do the right thing.
