Timon Rocks for Africa

On Saturday, May 15  from 7:00 – 10 pm, Bishop Timon-St. Jude H.S. will be hosting a musical celebration to benefit African relief.  Timon Rocks for Africa will feature performances by Handsome Pete, Myers & Joyce, Too Close for Comfort and Empty V.

Along with these great acts there will also be a live broadcast by WTSJ throughout the evening. Food and drinks will be available along with door prizes and raffles.

The cost is only $10 and all proceeds will go to the Genocide Intervention Network. Plan on attending for a night of great live music and fun.

    HI
    I just wanted to make you aware that Thea Halo author of Not Even My Name (a genocide survivor story) is coming to speak in Buffalo on April 2-4th 2009.

    She will be speaking at ECC-City Campus Auditorium on April 2 at 12:15PM at UB 5PM Capen 12 and on WBEN radio at 12 NOON Saturday April 4th.
